MoUs In Davos Signed With Telangana Businesses: BJP

The purpose of going to Davos should have been to attract foreign investments, but the CM took local businesses there and signed MoUs, the party alleged.
Hyderabad | 24th January 2025
Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy today alleged that businessmen from State-based groups had been taken to Davos and agreements with them signed by the CM.

"I do not understand the State government's policy. The purpose of going to Davos should be to attract investments from foreign countries and maybe businesses based in other States. Instead, the CM has taken businessmen from Hyderabad there, and just done in Davos what could very well have been done right in Hyderabad," he said.

He said that there would still be no need for any criticism if the Davos visit of the CM turned out to be profitable, and that the agreements signed in Davos should not just remain on paper but must translate to investments on the ground.

The minister also alleged that the real estate sector across the State had completely collapsed.
