Telangana CM Revanth Reddy returned to Hyderabad today after his visit to Davos for the World Economic Forum, and got a grand welcome at the airport from Congress leaders and workers.
Leaders and activists praised him for the success of his visits to Singapore and Davos, which have reportedly resulted in significant investment commitments for Telangana.
At Davos, the Telangana government finalised agreements with various companies for investments totalling Rs 1,78,950 crore. This represents a substantial increase compared to the commitments of Rs 40,232 crore during the previous visit.
The new investments are expected to generate approximately 50,000 jobs if they actually fructify.
In total, the State government entered into agreements with around 20 companies.
