BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday claimed that "every second voter" in the country wishes to see Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister of India.
Talking to reporters here, Venkaiah Naidu said, "The BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate has got a tremendous response from across the country."
He added that Modi had no competition in his "ascent to the top post". Naidu claimed that the country has been witnessing a Modi wave, and cited an example, as to how Modi got an overwhelming response in Tamilnadu, with people from all walks of life welcoming his candidature.
Venkaiah Naidu went on to say that the ruling Congress party is in a "very bad condition" in all the states. He predicted that the Congress would not be able to win even 100 seats in the next elections. (INN)
