Switching loyalties to the ruling TRS is going on unabated in the twin cities and other Telangana districts. Leaders from other parties in the Khairatabad, Malkajgiri and Amberpet segments today joined the TRS in the presence of ministers K T Rama Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and TRS GHMC president Mynampally Hanmantha Rao, at Telangana Bhavan.
KTR invited them into the TRS fold by offering them the Party's traditional pink shawl.
Speaking on the occasion, Yadav said that all the roads in Hyderabad were leading to the TRS. There would be no chance for other Parties to win the GHMC elections, he claimed.
He also criticized the Congress for saying that the MLC seats were won by the TRS by luring Opposition Party leaders with money. Many leaders and activists from other Parties were joining the TRS for its priority to welfare and development programs, and to work to transform the State into a golden Telangana, he said.
As the Opposition Parties were fully emasculated now, they were resorting to false allegations for their political survival, the minister alleged.
"The TRS will do everything as per process, and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is according top priority to the welfare of the State," he said.
