Former minister and Gadwal Congress MLA D K Aruna alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to form a secret alliance and notify the latter on the former's hidden black money, and make a settlement to gain immunity from punitive measures.
Speaking to the media at Assembly Media Hall on Friday, Aruna alleged that the Chief Minister was visiting the PM in the national capital after entering into a pact with him. She also claimed that the TRS government would now stop the implementation of welfare schemes in the State citing demonetization as the reason. She asked the State government why it took so long to respond to the Centre's decision.
The Congress MP claimed that the Narendra Modi government was behind the common man instead of corporates and business tycoons the country while demonetizing big notes. The demonetization of big notes would help BJP politically, but not the general public. The "crackdown" was only a way to gain political mileage for the upcoming elections.
She also alleged that the Prime Minister was protecting Gujarat's big industrialists including with Ambani and Adani.
Aruna asked KCR to come clean on the merits of the meeting.
