The two-day Bharat Summit 2025, a prominent global event, commenced on a grand scale at HICC Novotel today.
Over 450 representatives from more than 100 nations are participating in this international conference.
Upon arriving at the summit, the delegates received a remarkable welcome that showcased the culture of Telangana.
Senior leaders of the Congress greeted them with traditional bonalu and dappu sounds.
A dedicated stall was also established at the venue to provide information about the various welfare initiatives being carried out by the Telangana government, offering the attendees a detailed overview of the State's policies and programs.
On the first day, discussions centered around topics such as Gender Justice And Feminist Futures, Facts Vs Fiction (countering disinformation), Youth And Politics Of Tomorrow, and Shaping New Multilateralism.
Congress senior leaders including Salman Khurshid, Digvijay Singh, Telangana AICC In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Jupally Krishna Rao and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders attended the first-day events.
