Telangana Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy today accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of being Prime Minister Narendra Modi's agent in the promotion of the demonetization issue.
It seems that the TRS was planning to have truck with the BJP government at the Centre and support Modi Government on the note ban row at the cost of State interests, Reddy alleged.
Talking at the media point after the first day of Winter session of Assembly, Jeevan Reddy alleged that KCR was talking in favour of the Modi-government on note ban and that there was some change in KCR's attitude after his meeting with Modi in Delhi a few days ago.
Slamming the CM for holding only a brief discussion on the note ban, Jeevan Reddy alleged that treasury benches ignored the Congress' plea to pay homage to those died in the process of withdrawing their money from Banks and ATMs.
