Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Hyderabad today to attend the two-day national executive meetings of his party.
However, when Modi landed at the airport, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav was present once again to receive the PM on behalf of the State government.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao once again breached protocol and didn't receive the PM.
This is the third time in six months that the Chief Minister did not follow the protocol of receiving the Prime Minister.
The CM however conspicuously received the opposition's Presidential candidate Yashwanth Sinha at the same airport.
Yadav was accompanied by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and other senior BJP leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Yadav said that there was no rule that the Chief Minister should receive the Prime Minister.
"Anybody can receive the PM on behalf of the State government when the PM visits the State," he said.
