Minister for Energy Jagadish Reddy today lambasted Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for skipping the inaugural ceremony of the new Telangana Secretariat complex.
Speaking to the media, Reddy said that even though an invitation had been extended to the Governor for the ceremony, she didn't attend the program.
"The Governor's true colours were exposed in her skipping the program. We are leaving the matter of her not attending the program to her conscience. The growth of Telangana will continue and nobody can stop its development," he said.
Terming the new Secretariat complex as the pride of Telangana, the minister said that the development works of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would remain in the history of the State, and that he would live in the hearts of the people forever.
"Opposition party leaders are worried by the progress of Telangana, and fear at the bleak future for themselves as the BRS will again retain power in Telangana in the upcoming Assembly elections," Reddy added.
