The Majlis Bachau Tahreek (MBT) on Tuesday accused MIM leaders of spreading false propaganda, especially in the Yakutpura and Chandrayangutta constituencies, to divert the attention of the voters.
In a media statement, MBT leader Amjedullah Khan Khaled said that the MIM leaders had lodged a false complaint in the Chandrayanagutta PS stating that MBT President Dr. Khayam Khan had made some objectionable remarks against the people of Barkas.
The MBT leaders had not made any remarks against the people of Barkas or of any Qabila, he said. He added that all the Qabilas and voters of Barkas were supporting the MBT, and Dr. Khayam Khan was very much in Barkas and was interacting with the people when some MIM sympathisers had lodged a false complaint.
Amjedullah Khan said that the full speeches delivered by Dr. Khayam Khan and him were available on YouTube, and that people could listen to them to clear their doubts.
He appealed to the voters to remain cautious as the MIM could resort to anything to demoralise the MBT cadre, supporters and sympathisers.
Amjedullah Khan said that the MIM leadership and their followers were unable to digest the fact that the MBT had become more popular. "People are all set to reject the MIM's politics of exploitation, fear and lies. Therefore, the MIM is trying hard to distract the voters using all illegal means," he said.
He appealed to the voters not to get influenced by such false propaganda, and to cast their votes without any fear. (INN)
