The MRPS leader demanded that the state government take an all-party delegation to Delhi before the conclusion of the monsoon session of the Parliament.
Speaking to the media upon his release from the Chanchalguda jail, MRPS founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga demanded that the Telangana government take an all-party delegation to Delhi before the conclusion of the monsoon session of the Parliament, failing which the MRPS would continue its protest activities unabated.
He also announced deekshas (fasts) from January 1 to January 5 as a form of silent protest demanding sub-categorisation of the SC list.
He alleged that the TRS government was violating the Constitution and adopting Manu Dharma. Wondering if the laws were different for the "Doras" and the "Dalits", he said that he failed to understand why the Telangana government had filed 20 different cases against him despite his having organized a peaceful rally while no cases had been filed against K Chandrashekar Rao who had participated in the Telangana movement.
Reminding the CM that the MRPS had stood by him when the latter had staged a fast-unto-death during the Telangana statehood agitation and extended full support even after that, he said that KCR had repaid him by keeping him in jail for 10 days for organising a peaceful rally for the sub-categorization of SC reservations.
