KCR Effigy Burnt Over Manda Krishna Madiga's Arrest

Protesting the jailing of their founder-president, MRPS activists burnt an effigy of the CM near Jadcharla and demanded Madiga's immediate release.

Protesting the incarceration of MRPS founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga, MRPS activists burnt an effigy of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on the highway near Jadcharla on Monday and demanded immediate release of their leader.

Speaking on the occasion, MRPS leaders alleged that the TRS government was not sincere about categorisation of SC reservations, and was imprisoning MRPS activists on dubious charges in order to quell their protest.

Manda Krishna Madiga was arrested on December 18 for taking out a protest rally on the Tank Bund without obtaining permission for it, and is currently lodged in the Chanchalguda jail.
