Rs. 270 Cr For Water For Malkajgiri
The CM said that Rs. 270 crore would be utilized for streamlining and strengthening the drinking water system in the constituency.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday stated that the government would release Rs. 270 crore to solve the drinking water problem in the Malkajgiri Parliament constituency.
Participating as chief guest in the Rachabanda program held at Malkajgiri, the CM said that Rs. 270 crore would be utilized for streamlining and strengthening the drinking water system in the constituency, that has been facing acute shortage of drinking water for a long time.
The CM said that roads, bridges, parks and other amenities would be provided under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits, with an allocation of Rs. 1,200 crore.
To solve the drinking water problem permanently in the city, he said, Rs. 3,800 crore would be allotted for bringing in the Godavari's waters.
In fact, the state government has signed an MoU with the World Bank for Rs. 1,600 crore, to solve issues of potable water across the state.
Taking serious note of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu ridiculing his government's promise of offering 15 lakh jobs to unemployed youth in 3 years, the CM challenged Naidu that he would show him exactly the jobs were lying vacant in the state.
Home Minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy, Malkajgiri MP Sarve Satyanarayana, GHMC Mayor Banda Karthika Chandra Reddy, GHMC Commissioner MT Krishna Babu and other officials participated in the function. (INN)
