Sivaratri Special Buses For Guntur
Buses will be run to Panakalaswamy temple, Kottapakonda, Sri Durga Malleswara Swamivarla Devastanam, Srisailam, Neeladrikonda, Chatrasala, Amaravathi and Govada.

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation will operate 750 buses in Guntur Zone for the Maha Sivaratri festival to be celebrated on 20 February.
RTC Guntur Zone Regional Manager P V Rama Rao stated that the Corporation would run the buses to Panakalaswamy temple, Kottapakonda, Sri Durga Malleswara Swamivarla Devastanam, Srisailam, Neeladrikonda, Chatrasala, Amaravathi and Govada from Guntur district.
He said that about 80 buses would be operated to Srisailam, and that an equal number of buses would be run to the Vijayawada Kanakadurga temple.
Rama Rao said that the RTC would run 550 buses to Kottappakonda, with 120 buses from Chilakaluripeta and 140 buses from Narsaraopeta.
The buses would be operated from the wee hours of 18 February to the midnight of 20 February, he said. Among 750 buses, the RTC has added 100 new buses to the fleet, he added.
Apart from Information and Help Centres, he said the RTC has established 6 temporary bus shelters for the convenience of pilgrims.
He appealed to passengers to book their tickets in advance at Information centers and at online reservation counters. (INN)
