The TSRTC will operate 2,427 special buses from February 17 to 19 for the Maha Sivaratri festivities in various pilgrim centres.
The Maha Sivaratri festival will be celebrated on February 18 this year.
The public transport entity will ply the special buses to 40 temples in AP and Telangana.
There will be 578 special buses to Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh, followed by 481 to Vemulawada, 239 to Keesara Gutta, 497 to Yedu Payalu, 108 to Velala 108, 51 to Kaleshwaram, 52 to Komuravelli, 37 to Kondagattu, 16 to Alampur, 15 to Ramappa and 14 to the Uma Maheshwaram temple.
For the Srisailam temple, the buses will be operated from MGBS and JBS, and the Dilsukhnagar, IS Sadan, KPHB and BHEL areas in Hyderabad, and reservations can be made.
Additional buses will also be pressed into service to various places depending on the requirement.
The TSRTC is also offering a 10% discount on the fare during the three-day period.
