MAA Elections: Hema Lodges Complaint Against Naresh

Popular Telugu film character actress Hema wrote a letter to the Election Officer of the Movie Artists Association (MAA) Krishna Mohan complaining against incumbent President Naresh and another actress Karate Kalyani.

In her letter, she alleged that a false campaign was being carried out against her by Naresh and Kalyani, who were morphing her photos to create a video to carry out their defamation.

Stating that she was also contesting in the upcoming elections, she claimed that the exercise was both costing her her reputation and jeopardising her chances of winning.

She said that she would also lodge a complaint with the cybercrime police against Naresh and Kalyani.

Meanwhile, the Election Officer Krishna Mohan asked the contesting candidates not to violate the election code during their campaigning.

He also asked them to not carry out campaigns maligning each other, and warned contestants of action if they violated the code.
