Shri Buddha Prasad has a very rich legacy, hailing from a very honorable family of committed, selfless, service-oriented and cultured family of Krishna district. An educated and decently-mannered man that he has always been, he is an aficionado of Telugu language and telugu culture, and a scholar in telugu himself, his nomination as the chairman of the Official Language Commission will be a great asset to all telugu people. I am sure that he will restore the lost glory of Telugu, described as the 'Italian of the East', and will and will ensure its rightful place in both the State and India. We, the sons of telugu gadda, are proud to have Shri Buddha Prasad as the Chairman of this coveted seat of responsibility. The numerous initiatives that he had taken, including organising the World Telugu Conference, soon after his taking over his new assignment, are testimony to his indefatigable efforts to put the second-largest speaking language in India in its proper perspective and honoured place. The entire world of Telugu community wish Shri Bhddha Prasad great success in his new endeavours.
