Hyderabad Book Fair Society President Yakub Shaikh today announced that the 37th Hyderabad Book Fair would be held at NTR Stadium near Indira Park from December 19 to 29.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would inaugurate the fair in the presence of ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Ponnam Prabhakar, said R Vasu, the Secretary of the society.
Shaikh said that over 210 publishers and distributors from across the country including the two Telugu States would be showcasing their books at the fair.
"A total of 347 stalls are being set up at this book fair. Of these, 171 stalls will feature books in the Telugu language, and 135 in English and other languages. 10 stationery and 14 government stalls are also being set up at the fair," Vasu said.
The society has advised those who wish to set up stalls at the fair to apply by the 15th of this month.
Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Sanskrit, Urdu, Marathi and Kannada books would be available at the fair, Shaikh said, and urged children, the youth and adults to make the most of the event.
