Lokesh Naidu To Contest For Mangalagiri Assembly Seat
The CM has decided that it would be best for Lokesh to contest for that seat as, if he won it, it would help him develop an area that has the State's capital.

The suspense over the Assembly seat for which where TDP national general secretary and son of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, is likely to contest, is finally over.
The party president has decided to field Lokesh from the Mangalagiri Assembly segment, where the current capital of the State is located.
The CM has come to the conclusion that it would be best for Lokesh to contest for the Mangalagiri seat as, if he won it, it would help him develop an important area in a comprehensive manner.
Following the decision by the party high command, Lokesh held a meeting with the party leaders from Mangalagiri in order to prepare the election strategy.
The party leadership had earlier thought of fielding Lokesh from one of the Bhimili, Kuppam and Visakhapatnam East Assembly constituencies.
The TDP had lost the Mangalagiri seat in 2014 by just 12 votes.
