Lok Satta Party Working President D V V S Varma, on Monday, dissolved the party's committees in Tirupati town and Chittoor district, for "persistent acts of indiscipline".
Varma named an ad-hoc committee for Tirupati town, with J Venkateswarlu as convenor and Siddaiah Naidu and Dr. P Venugopal as members. An-ad hoc committee for Chittoor district will be announced in a day or two, he said.
Lok Satta Party President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan had given his approval for the disciplinary action.
