In the context of the upcoming general elections, Lok Satta Party President Jayaprakash Narayan today said that the Party's fight against corruption, for elections, for the upkeep of democracy and for amendments in Constitution would continue, regardless of whether they would win the elections or not.
Participating in the 10th anniversary of the Party at the Sundaraiah Vignana Kendra, Narayana expressed his desire to form a collision with the Left in order to "bring in a political change".
He expressed confidence that he would convince the Left to work together to wage a combined fight on key issues.
He suggested that Prime Minister Narendra Modi try to bring in changes in the system at the grassroots to reduce corruption.
He also said that LSP would go ahead with its plan of maintaining cordial people-government relations take on corruption.
Irrespective of the results post-elections, our Party would continue to fight to protect democratic values and rights of the people, he vowed.
LSP National President Surendra Srivastava, LSP State President Pandurana Rao and Party activists from 31 districts turned up in the program.
