3 MLAs Get ACB Notices In Liquor Syndicate Case
ith the investigation agency intensifying the probe, liquor traders are reportedly coming forward to disclose the names of those they had bribed for the protection of their businesses.
The Anti Corruption Bureau, on Saturday, served notices to 3 MLAs, in connection with the liquor syndicate issue.
The ACB while serving notices to Mahbubabad MLA Kavitha, Sattupalli Telugu Desam Party MLA Venkata Veeraiah, and Visakhapatnam (East) MLA Rama Krishna Babu, asked them to appear at the ACB office from 18 to 20 June for questioning.
The ACB also served notices to former MLA Chenna Kesava Reddy from Yemmiganur (who is contesting the by-elections on a YSR Congress ticket), D Ram Manohar Naidu (Youth Congress leader from Srikakulam and son of roads and buildings minister Dharmana Prasad Rao), and CPI leader and former MLC Puvvada Nageswara Rao, on the allegations of receiving bribes from the liquor syndicate.
