South Central Railway (SCR) officials heaved a sigh of relief on Saturday after no casualties or injuries were reported after the Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS train derailed from the tracks.
One pair of wheels of the train came off the tracks between Sanathnagar and Hafeezpet stations at about 12.35 pm, forcing SCR to cancel 11 trains for the day.
SCR officials rushed to the spot, and managed to restore normalcy on the section in just about an hour after the derailment.
