The South Central Railway has also set up a special help desk for passengers.
Due to the agitation against the Agnipath scheme at the Secunderabad Railway Station and the resulting violence, the South Central Railway today cancelled several MMTS services.
Eight services between Lingampally and Hyderabad, nine services between Hyderabad and Lingampally, 12 services between Falaknuma and Lingampally, 13 services between Lingampally and Falaknuma, and two services between Falaknuma and Hyderabad and between Ramachandrapuram and Falaknuma have been cancelled.
The cancelled MMTS trains are (train numbers):
Lingampally to Hyderabad: 47135, 47138, 47133, 47137, 47140, 47132, 47136, 47139
Hyderabad to Lingampally: 47108, 47111, 47110, 47114, 47120, 47109, 47112, 47118, 47119
Falaknuma to Lingampally: 47157, 47160, 47167, 47165, 47216, 47214, 47161, 47207, 47155, 47158
Lingampally to Falaknuma: 47181, 47188, 47189, 47186, 47212, 47182, 47184, 47159, 47179, 47183, 47185, 47217
Falaknuma to Hyderabad: 47201
Ramachandrapuram to Falaknuma: 47177
The Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) too suspended all operations till further notice.
The HMR stated, "Passengers are informed that due to some disturbances in the city, all operations in all three lines of the Hyderabad Metro Rail stand suspended till further notice. Passengers are advised to take care and make alternate arrangements."
Meanwhile, following the violence at the Secunderabad Railway Station, the South Central Railway has set up a special help desk for passengers.
"In view of the agitation at the Secunderabad Railway Station, a special help desk has been set up. Passengers can call 040-27786666 for updates on train cancellations, diversions and partial cancellations of trains," the SCR said in a release.
