As soon as the House assembled, the TRS members rushed to the podium demanding a discussion on Telangana, while TDP members rushed to "the well" demanding that the Babli dam issue be taken up.
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly was adjourned without transacting any business on Saturday, with TRS members stalling the House demanding a discussion on the Telangana issue.
As soon as the House assembled, the TRS members rushed to the podium demanding a discussion on the Telangana issue, while TDP members rushed to the well of the House demanding the chair to take up the Babli dam issue.
The two parties tabled adjournment motions, which the speaker had disallowed.
The speaker had adjourned the House briefly two times earlier. When it re-assembled, there was no improvement in the situation, and hence, he adjourned the House till Monday. This is the fourth day that the House went without taking up any regular business. (INN)
