Rajya Sabha Congress MP Dr. K V P Ramachandra Rao has reacted to the various allegations that the TDP has been making against his integrity. KVP has written a 5-page note to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu accusing him of stooping to any level for power.
In a detailed accusatory letter addressed to the former CM, KVP said that Naidu used the NTR family for his political gains. He said that Naidu was behind every conspiracy aimed at KVP, and also said that after the death of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Naidu was now targeting KVP.
The letter contains a mention of the comparison of financial statuses of the families of Naidu and KVP before they came into politics and their riches now – he said his own family was quite well-off even before his entry into politics, and questioned Naidu as to how he made so much money.
KVP also had questions to ask about the in-laws of Naidu's son Lokesh.
He said none of Naidu's protests and allegations of corruption in YSR's development schemes had succeeded, and did not stop the Congress from coming back to power. According to him, Naidu had the habit of flinging baseless accusations, including an incident of a suitcase bomb in which he accused Y S Jagan of some years back.
TDP leader Dhoolipala Narendra has rubbished KVP's allegations and called him "shameless".
