Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA K Taraka Rama Rao, on Friday, announced that he would file a defamation case against ABN Andhra Jyothi and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.
Talking to reporters here, KTR said that he was not involved in any settlement deal as alleged by the ABN Andhra Jyothi and the TDP chief. Stating that he was ready to face any probe, he announced that he would quit politics if he was proved guilty.
"If they cannot prove the allegations, Radhakrishna and Chandrababu should fall at my feet and seek an apology," said KTR.
It may be mentioned that KTR had earlier set a deadline of 24 hours for the ABN Andhra Jyothy to tender an apology. However, the media house did not apologise and telecast more reports about his alleged settlement deal. Following their refusal, KTR said that he would file a defamation case against the media house on Monday. (INN)
