As he said he would, former minister & BRS working president K T Rama Rao today sent legal notices to minister Konda Surekha, Congress MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy and Congress leader K K Mahender Reddy demanding an apology for their public comments against him in connection with the phone-tapping case.
He also sent legal notices to a couple of news media and YouTube channels.
In his notice, KTR threatened to file defamation suits if they did not apologise to him within a week.
He said that he had nothing to do with the tapping case, and that his name was being repeatedly mentioned in conspiratorial tones. He said that those who spread such false propaganda would not be spared however high they rose, and that strict action would be taken against them as per the law.
"Even if the Chief Minister is involved in this matter, I will not give up. Action will be taken against anyone spreading false propaganda," he said.
