Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president and IT Minister K T Rama Rao made his first public appearance today after a three-week medical rest.
The minister participated in an Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav function at Parade Grounds organised by the Indian Army.
He was received by Maj Gen Ranjit Singh Manral, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA).
As he arrived at the venue, senior officers of the Army received him and lent him a hand to walk a few steps.
KTR walked with a walking stick and a special shoe supporting his foot.
It may be recalled that KTR had suffered a ligament tear on July 23, just a day before his birthday, hours before he went to participate in the convocation of Mahindra University.
After participating in the convocation he went to Yashoda Hospital unable to bear the pain. He was detected as having suffered a ligament tear, and was advised three weeks' rest.
