MRPS founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga today strongly criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for delaying the implementation of Scheduled Caste (SC) categorisation.
Speaking to the media, Madiga accused the government of delaying the categorisation by forming committees and commissions. He claimed the delay was intentional, allowing job placements to proceed without proper classification before December.
He reminded that the CM had previously promised to complete the categorisation and make the State a leader on the issue. Madiga alleged that Revanth's promises to the Madiga community were nothing more than hollow assurances.
He went on to accuse the CM of being a "master of deception" when it came to their community, and urged the Madiga community and its sub-castes to prepare for a renewed movement. He warned of large-scale protests demanding the CM's resignation.
"CM Revanth Reddy should brace for protests from the Madiga community. We will organize mass protests from the village to the state level. From November 4 to 14, we will hold the Madigas Dharma Yuddha Deeksha. Following that, the Madigala Dharmayuddha Rath Yatra will begin in Kodada, running from November 16 to December 20," he said.
