Korutla Municipal Chairman MA Gafoor was removed from his post on Sunday, after a vigilance report found him involved in irregularities in the purchase of vehicles for the Corporation.

According to the order issued by Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Pushpa Subrahmaniam, Gafoor was found prima facie guilty of irregularities in the purchase of tractors on behalf of the Korutla Municipality, Karimnagar.
