Senior Congress leader and MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today vowed not to speak about politics till a month before the next Assembly elections.
He also said that he would contest the Assembly elections from the Nalgonda constituency.
Speaking to media persons in the Nalgonda district headquarters, he asked the State government why it did not build 20,000 double bedroom houses in Nalgonda like it had in the Gajwel and Sircilla Assembly constituencies.
On his non-inclusion in any of the important committees of the party by the AICC, Komatireddy said that he said he was quite happy being part of the party, and declined to comment on the issue.
He added that he had sacrificed even a minister post, and was not worried much about party posts.
For the unversed, the party high command did not nominate Venkat Reddy to any of the committees constituted by it.
The high command took the decision following the allegations that the MP had worked for the victory of his younger brother and BJP leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy in the recent by-election in the Munguodu Assembly constituency.
