Former minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy has met TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao.
The two leaders are believed to have talked about Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's remarks that the Telangana issue may take more time. Komatireddy, accompanied by T Harish Rao, met KCR and had discussions on the political situation.
Harish Rao had yesterday called upon Congress MPs, MLAs, MLCs and ministers to quit the party to show the seriousness of the issue. "If Seemandhra leaders are using the same blackmail tactics, why are the people of "the region" lagging behind?" he questioned.
Komatireddy has been a known supporter of the Telangana cause, and his differences with Uttam Kumar Reddy has split the ranks in the Nalgonda district. (INN)
