Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani today lashed out at TDP leader Nara Lokesh, saying that he had never seen a "waste human being" like Lokesh in his entire life.
He also said that Lokesh didn't even know the difference between a paddy field and fish pond, and that there was no benefit to the TDP from his tours of the state.
He warned Lokesh that the YSR Congress Party would teach him a befitting lesson if he made any indecent remarks against Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Targeting another TDP leader Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao for his recent agitation in support of the farmers of the state, he alleged that the former minister was enacting dramas to gain the sympathy of the farmers.
He pointed out that the TDP was the party which had ordered firing against the farmers at Basheerbagh during the 2002 protests demanding reduction in electricity charges, and asked why Uma didn't shoot himself when his party president and the then CM of the undivided AP had ordered the firing.
Referring to the incident that took place at Guntur between the police and the farmers, he said that the government had taken action in the issue.
