Chief Minister Visits Dalits In Medak
Kiran Kumar Reddy toured Vaddepalli village, Medak, to communicate with the dalits there and to ascertain if the welfare schemes formulated for them are being implemented.
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy toured Vaddepalli village in the district on Medak on Friday, reportedly to communicate with the dalits residing in the village, and to ascertain if the welfare schemes formulated for them are being implemented.
According to sources, KKR is set to survey the condition of the roads in the region, the supply of electricity and water, and the tomato and maize fields on the 51 acres of land alloted to the farmers by the government.
With the CM scheduled to touch down in the village, the local police stepped up security measures in the region. It has also been reported that drinking water facilities were hastily arranged for KKR's convoy.
The villagers, however, were reportedly skeptic if Kiran Kumar Reddy touring the village would do them any good as they feel the arrangements made to receive the CM would serve as an eye-wash.
Speaking to the media, some farmers also expressed doubts if they would truly be allowed to communicate with the Chief Minister.
