A 4-member committee of ministers has been appointed to study the demands of the government staff.
As promised to NGO leaders, a committee has been formed with Minister For Roads and Buildings Dharmana Prasada Rao, Finance and Planning Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, Higher and Technical Education Minister C Damodar Rajanarasimha and Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy.
According to sources, the committee would study the issues concerning the NGOs, finalise a report, and submit it to the government shortly.
Following the NGO leaders meeting with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, the latter had asked them to give some time to resolve the issue of their long-pending demands.
The NGO leaders had earlier threatened to proceed on pen-down stir as part of their agitational program to realise their demands.
