Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Tuesday, held a meeting with city ministers M Mukesh Goud and Danam Nagender at his camp office.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister reportedly discussed the latest political situation, especially the developments that took place after the
Congress Core Committee meeting held on July 12 in New Delhi, with the ministers.
Sources claim that he also enquired about the possible public response to his opposition to Telangana State.
The ministers reportedly assured Kiran Kumar Reddy that people in the twin cities were not too actively involved with the demand for Telangana and therefore, the party is not likely to lose or gain in Hyderabad over the Telangana issue.
Earlier, talking to reporters Mukesh Goud said that he would abide by any decision taken by the Centre over the Telangana issue. (INN)
