Khamman Woman Falls Prey To Acid Attack

Radha, a woman living in Banjur village of Kallur mandal of Khammam district has been the victim of a ghastly incident of acid attack which occured late at night on Saturday. She was immediately admitted to a hospital in Khammam, and is now on her way to recovery.

According to sources, the crime was committed by a man called Ramu who lived in the same village. Reportedly, Ramu and Radha both have families of their own, who they left to conduct an illicit affair with each other, which has been going on four about 5 years.

Lately, there have been problems between them, with Ramu constantly being suspicious that Radha is in an affair with another man. Last night, in a fit of rage and jealousy, he threw acid at her face.

According to doctors, although Radha is recovering, she has sustained severe injuries to her eyes and her neck, which will take a while to recoup.
