Khammam Municipal Polls: KTR Seeks Votes For TRS
Telangana minister K T Rama Rao called upon Khammam to vote for the TRS in the upcoming elections to the Khammam Municipal Corporation to ensure growth.
Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K Taraka Rama Rao today called upon the people of Khammam to vote for the TRS candidates in the upcoming elections to the Khammam Municipal Corporation to ensure growth.
He was campaigning for the polls at Pandurangapuram in the town along with local minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and other local candidates in the fray.
The minister accused the previous governments of failing to develop Telangana over several decades. The ruling party had however come up with many welfare schemes and development programs for the people during just 18 months so far, he claimed.
The TRS government had announced 5,000 double bedroom houses for Khammam, and would also get the Godavari waters to irrigate 5 lakh acres, KTR said. KCR's initiative to resolve the long-pending projects was fructifying with the Maharashtra government coming forward to resolve the water-related issues, he claimed.
KTR also termed Khammam's Nageshwar Rao as a right hand to the Chief Minister, and said that KCR and many of the ministers greatly respected Tummala and called him "Anna".
