As today was the last day, nearly one lakh devotees thronged the yagasala and had a darshan of the goddess Chandi.
Spiritual gurus like Swaroopananda Swamy and Madugula Nagaphani Sarma expressed happiness over the successful completion of the yagam. Speaking at the conclusion of the yagam, Swaroopananda Swamy patted KCR for conducting the event in an excellent manner. Referring to the fire accident, the Swamy said that the scriptures had prescribed that the yagashala (the venue of the yagam) should be burnt at the end of the yagam, and that God himself had done it here, a little earlier. This boded well for the State, he said, and added that Lord Rudra and goddess Chandi Devi would be fully satisfied with the yagam.
Nagaphani Sarma said that the yagam had concluded very successfully under the supervision of Bharathi Teeretha Swamy and Shankaracharya.
During the five days of the yagam, lakhs of people visited the site for a glimpse of the goddess and the proceedings. Anna Prasadam was arranged on a large scale for all the visitors. Women in large numbers performed laksha kumkumarcha and other rituals. Several spiritual gurus and many VIPs visited the yagam, and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for the event.
KCR has said that yagam was conducted for world peace and the well-being of all the creatures on the planet.
