BRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao's roadshows will continue from Friday.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) had banned KCR from campaigning for 48 hours. Election Commission officials reached KCR's bus yatra while he was campaigning in Mahabubabad town and handed over the orders to him. The order was applicable for 48 hours from 8 pm on Wednesday. Public gatherings, demonstrations, rallies, interviews, road shows and public speaking in the media by KCR during the period of the ban were prohibited by the EC.
As per the instructions of the EC, KCR stopped campaigning before 8 pm on Wednesday, and left for his Erravalli farmhouse.
As per the post-ban schedule released by the party, KCR will hold a road show as usual from Friday upon the expiration of the ban by the Election Commission. After 8 pm on Friday, the bus yatra will continue from Ramagundam in Peddapalli district. He will be staying in Ramagundam for the night. On Saturday, a road show will be held in Mancherial district. Another road show will be held in Jagityal on the following day, Sunday. KCR will hold a road show in Nizamabad on May 6, and another in Kamareddy on May 7. On May 8, he will hold road shows in the Barapur and Patancheru Assembly constituencies. He will hold a road show in Karimnagar district on May 9, followed by two final road shows in Sircilla and Siddipet districts on May 10.
