Telangana's first chief minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao's state-wide bus yatra will begin on Wednesday.
The party is making the necessary arrangements as the Election Commission has given permission for the 17-day yatra starting April 24.
In this context, special pujas were performed at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday for the bus in which KCR's yatra will happen.
BRS cadres participated in the rituals.
The yatra will begin at Miryalaguda and end with a public meeting in Siddipet. It will continue till May 10.
KCR is undertaking the yatra as part of his campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. The yatra has been planned in such a way that there will be road shows in one or two Assembly constituencies in almost every Lok Sabha constituency.
There are demands from leaders of various constituencies that KCR should take out a bus yatra in their Assembly constituencies as well. However, in view of the short time and the heat of the sun, it has been decided to take up the bus yatra in only a few constituencies.
