The party said that the Telangana CM was keeping himself away from the official programs of the Prime Minister in the State, and that it was a bad practice.
BJP Leader Dr K Laxman today said it would be good if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao attended Saturday's program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Ramagundam for the inauguration of the RFCL plant.
Speaking to the media after inspecting the arrangements being made for the visit of the PM at the Begumpet airport, Laxman said that the Chief Minister was keeping himself away from the official programs of the Prime Minister in Telangana, and pointed out that the CM had so far avoided three consecutive programs of the PM in the State, which he said was a bad practice. He said that the CM was not able to make the distinction between politics and development.
Laxman said that he was urging the CM to attend Saturday's program on behalf of the BJP. He claimed that the PM was respecting the spirit of federalism and was implementing development programs even in the non-BJP ruled States of the country.
Laxman also said that the PM would only meet the party workers at the Begumpet airport.
