Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today directed the officials concerned to take up developmental works in the Kodangal Assembly constituency, including Kosgi town and other villages.
He asked the officials to grant immediate sanction for the works.
A delegation led by former MLA G Gurunath Reddy, TRS in-charge of Kodangal constituency, met the Chief Minister at Pragati Bhavan, where Reddy urged the CM to have a bus depot and a police circle office constructed at the Kosgi mandal headquarters. The TRS leader also made a strong case for the establishment of a fire service station in Kodangal, and government junior colleges in the Daulatabad and Bomraspet mandal headquarters.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the CM following which the latter issued the directives. With this, the construction of the much-awaited bus depot in Kosgi town will be fructified, while Kodangal will get a fire station, and Daulatabad and Bomraspet their junior colleges, in the near future.
The delegation the CM met with comprised of local leaders including Prathap Reddy, Hanumanth Reddy and Rajeshwar. Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Transport Minister Dr P Mahender Reddy, Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and MLC Narender Reddy, too, were also present at the meeting.
