On the seventh day of his 10-day tour of China, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was on a spree of visiting historic monuments and structures.
On Sunday, along with his official delegation, the Chief Minister had a glimpse of the Great Wall of China, and Tiananmen Square that saw bloody protests for democracy 25 years ago, among other places.
The delegation then left for Shenzehn located in south-east China.
KCR and team are on a 10-day China mission aimed at fetching investments of around Rs 50,000 crores from business honchos and industry bigwigs. Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and G Jagadish Reddy, and firebrand legislators Srinivas Goud and and G Balaraju are in the delegation. The tour of China will end on September 15, and KCR is to return to India on September 16.
