It alleged that KCR was not serious about waiving the farmers' loans, and had ordered a lathicharge on the very farmers and students who brought him to power.
The Telangana Telugu Desam Party on Friday accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of misleading the farmers on various counts.
Speaking to media persons, Telangana TDP President L Ramana alleged that KCR was not serious about implementing his promises of waiving off agricultural loans.
He said that the recent lathicharge on farmers in the Medak district gave clear indications that the TRS government was neither serious about fulfilling its promises nor would tolerate any protests.
Referring to the lathicharge against Osmania University's students, he said that it was shocking that KCR had ordered a lathicharge on the very farmers and students whose support brought him to power in Telangana.
Meanwhile, T-TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Motkupally Narasimhulu also accused KCR of ignoring the welfare of farmers.
They blamed KCR's inefficiency for the inability to resolve the power crisis. They also alleged that nearly 180 farmers had committed suicide after the TRS came to power in Telangana.
They also raised doubts over whether the Comprehensive Household Survey would be a success given it would be done on just one day on August 19. (INN)
