Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today expressed condolences over the demise of Heera Ben, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Telangana CM conveyed deep sympathies to the Prime Minister and his family members.

Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, some ministers and other leaders too expressed grief over the demise of Heera Ben, and extended their condolences to PM Modi for his loss.

100-year-old Hiraben passed away at a hospital in Ahmedabad early on Friday.
