Congress MLA T Jeevan Reddy has accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of cheating the people of Telangana by making fake promises.
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises on Sunday, Reddy said that the Chief Minister had not fulfilled even 5% of the promises that he had made during the last eight months.
He said that KCR had made several new promises during his visit to the Warangal district, but had failed to honour the old promises of waiving off farmers' loans and offering scholarships, and other assurances.
Jeevan Reddy said that the people who had aligned with KCR during the Telangana agitation had started distancing themselves from him due to his poor performance and failure to honour his promises.
He advised the Chief Minister to understand the ground realities and begin real work by taking the entire opposition into confidence. (INN)
