Hyderabad | 11th August 2014
The Council of Ministers of Telangana will meet on Monday evening at 7pm to finalise their strategy to counter the Centre's letter mentioning special powers over law & order in Hyderabad for the Governor.

According to sources, the Telangana Cabinet meeting, to be chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, will pass a resolution asking the Centre to amend the Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Act 2014 by removing the clauses which assign special responsibilities to the Governor in matters of law & order in the joint capital area.
