The Telangana CM went to Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy's native place Pocharam in Bansuvada mandal of Kamareddy district to extend his condolences.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today consoled Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, whose mother Papavva passed away on Wednesday, at the latter's native place Pocharam in Bansuvada mandal of Kamareddy district.
The Chief Minister took a helicopter from Begumpet airport to Banswada and reached Pocharam by road. There he expressed his deep grief to the family of Reddy. He offered tributes to the departed soul by placing flowers at the photograph of Papavva, and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family members.
Chief Secretary S K Joshi, Government Advisor Rajiv Sharma, Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, former Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, MLAs Padma Devender Reddy, Srinivas Goud, B Govardhan Reddy and Ganesh Gupta, and others accompanied the Chief Minister.
